Indie Heroines

Description

I had first started this years ago in college but have now got back into finishing, and boy was this hard work. These characters are all the sole protagonists of their own videogames that have been funded by either Kickstarter or Indiegogo. I personally liked all of them and hope that they all do extremely well when their games are finished. I found that it was good that indie companies are able to have a greater range in choice of having different kinds of protagonists, in this case awesome female characters. I love the variety of not only their gameplay styles but their designs.I thought it would be so cool to see them all together in their own styles so here they are.

Some character's outfits and designs had changed since I last saw them so I had to do a bit of reworking with some of them, or improvising given the available references. This picture has been a long time in the making, mostly because I did the basic drawing and coloring of the characters then pretty much went to other things before seeing it again and becoming determined to finish it. I drew everything, including the names which I incorporated the style of their game titles into.

Here is the list of their names, which is indicated to each individual in the picture, and what game they are from and funded from where.

Miriam from Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night, funded on Kickstarter.

Anja from Indivisible, funded on Indiegogo.

Mina from Battle Chef Brigade, funded on Kickstarter.

Jackelyne from Dimension Drive, funded on Kickstarter.

Simply called Hat Kid from A Hat in Time, funded on Kickstarter.

Lunais from Timespinner, funded on Kickstarter.

Lea from CrossCode, funded on Indiegogo.

Last is the one I have funded from all of these, Tsioque from the game of the same title, funded on Kickstarter.

The characters belong to their respective creators. Definitely check their games out on their pages!
